Background

As a Product Designer in Bupa UK’s Anatomy Design System squad, I help evolve the shared foundations used across Bupa.co.uk and related digital services. In a large, regulated healthcare organisation, Anatomy enables product teams to deliver consistent, accessible experiences more efficiently.

My work focuses on reusable components and patterns that balance brand expression, usability and technical feasibility. I partner closely with engineers and product teams to strengthen documentation, support adoption and improve standards, ownership and quality across the system.

Responsibilities and impact

• Evolve the Anatomy design system to support consistent, accessible and scalable interfaces across multiple product teams
• Design and document reusable components and patterns aligned with accessibility standards and Bupa’s brand guidelines
• Partner with engineers to translate design decisions into robust, production-ready components
• Help squads adopt the system through clear guidance, documentation and hands-on collaboration
• Improve design-system ways of working by clarifying standards, ownership and quality expectations
